About your trip

Join us for a weekend of scuba diving at Beaver Lake! 


We'll be conducting open water check-out dives and additional training dives with certified instructors. 


You'll have the opportunity to explore the lake's underwater attractions with guided fun dives, and enjoy camping or nearby hotel accommodations. Don't miss this chance to earn your certification and make some new dive buddies!

Arrival Day

  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Participants arrive at the dive shop to pick up any rental equipment or purchase any last-minute items they may need.
  • Friday Afternoon / Evening: Participants set up their camping gear at the designated campsite or check into their accommodations if they opted for a nearby hotel.

Training Dives 1, 2 & 3

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast at the campsite or a nearby restaurant.
  • 8:00 AM: Participants meet at the dive site to set up their gear and conduct equipment checks.
  • 9:00 AM: First dive of the day: Participants complete their open water check-out dives, supervised by certified instructors.
  • 10:00 AM: Surface interval: Participants take a break to rest, rehydrate, and discuss their dive experiences with each other.
  • 11:00 PM: Second dive of the day: Participants continue their open water check-out dives, again supervised by certified instructors.
  • 1:00 PM: Participants return to the campsite or hotel to rest and relax.
  • 6:00 PM: Optional group dinner: Participants can gather for a meal at a nearby restaurant.

Sunday

Checkout Dive 3 + Fun Dive

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast at the campsite or a nearby restaurant.
  • 8:00 AM: Participants meet at the dive site to set up their gear and conduct equipment checks.
  • 8:30 AM: First dive of the day: Participants who have completed their open water certification can complete additional training dives, such as a deep dive or a navigation dive, with their instructors.
  • 9:00 AM: Surface interval: Participants take a break to rest, rehydrate, and discuss their dive experiences with each other.
  • 10:00 AM: Optional fun dive: Participants who have already completed their training can participate in a fun dive with a guide, exploring the lake's underwater attractions.
  • 11:00 AM: Depart Beaver Lake and return to the dive shop to return any rental equipment and receive their certification cards.
